Let's Get Started! Step 1 - Sign up for a FREE Google account. Your Google account will grant you access to the wonderful world of Google. You will have access to Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube and much more. You will use your Google log on to set up Google Chrome and customize your browser screen.
Google Drive
Google Drive is an online (cloud based) storage area. You access it by signing on to your Google account. There are Chrome, iPhone and iPad apps for the Google Drive. You can access Google Drive whenever you have internet access and you can also use it offline. It automatically syncs your documents. Google Drive will store just about any type of document including MS Office documents and PDFs.

To add documents (PDF or MS office docs) to your Google Drive, you will need to open Google Drive from inside Chrome and then drag and drop the document.

By far, my favorite Google Doc is the form. I use it a lot! Creating a form allows you to gather information quickly and easily. It will save your data to a spreadsheet.
